I want to go through a quick workout with you. If you’re crazy busy, or mentally struggling and can’t get it together then this is a workout for you. This is something you can do if you’re a beginner, or if you just have a few minutes in the morning. It’s super simple and quick!
You can do this workout at home, you don’t need a gym or fancy equipment. Do 10 of everything.
- Jumping Jacks
- Bicep Curls – pick a weight that’s good for you and you can used canned goods, jugs of milk/water etc if you don’t have dumbbells. Keep your back straight, focus on the bicep and the lowering phase. Keep it controlled, no swinging and full range of motion
- “Standing Ab” crunches – put a good song on and crunch your knee to the opposite side of your chest 10 times then switch legs. Make sure you engage your abs
- Lateral Raises – works the side of your shoulders, you can do 1 arm or both at the same time. Life arm straight out to the side with a weight and keep a little bend in your elbow. Keep your back straight. You can do this without a weight as well
- Dumbbell rows – works your back
Repeat as many times as you have time for!
This is a great way to start off your day, especially when you don’t have time to get into the gym, or you’re away from home.
