You all know that feeling you felt, the shock on your face, the exact place you were, what you were doing at the time we all got the news of the plane hitting the first World Trade Tower. Our hearts were hurting, we were in disbelief and shock. I lived in Atlanta, GA at the time and I remember my mom calling me as soon as the Today show showed the first plane hitting the tower. I remember my husband and I staring at the TV, not saying a word-wondering what was happening and why. I also remember the horror of living in a major city as it was happening and how it felt every time a plane would fly above or every time I would hear a huge crash of anything! I have chills just typing it. I kept thinking to myself that the exact day before on September 10th, I spent my entire day in downtown Atlanta in a federal courthouse serving jury duty. Every federal building was evacuated, shut down, etc. on the very day after. It was surreal. Too many lives lost that day and all of OUR lives were forever changed.
Remember the lost and love ones of all the victims of that day. We are still praying for you and your loss. Put your hope in the Lord today and everyday!! God bless you all, Dani
We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield.
