There is an awesome, very steep hill outside our neighborhood. We have used it a few times (more often now that the weather is nice) for sprinting. It is a GREAT workout! It really gets our heart rate up and burns some calories!! We call it “kill the hill” because our son did something similar at Taekwando camp and that’s what they called it, and it rhymes, so you know I like that.
Our 9 year old son and husband headed out yesterday evening to “kill the hill” and my best friend and her husband were returning home from Crossfit, saw them, pulled over and joined in on the fun! My friend texted me these pictures she snapped last night! I loved these pictures! One of the coolest parts is while they were out on the hill; the owner of the property (who allows us to sled down this hill in the winter) was mowing and in my friend Dottie’s words, “gained great joy in clearing a path!” How cute is that? He was excited we have been putting it to “good use” and mowed us a path! I Love it!
Who says you need fancy equipment to get in shape!??? Where there’s a will, or a “hill” there’s a way!!
